Mumbai welcomes advani's memoirs

Mumbai marked the launch of My Country My Life by holding three events on 25 March 2008. Crosswords, which runs scores of bookstores across the country, invited L.K. Advani to a 'Book Reading and Signing' function at its spacious shop at Kemps Corner. Later, a packed audience at Rang Sharada auditorium in Bandra listened to the speeches of two distinguished speakers: Dr. P.C. Alexander, former Governor of Maharashtra (he was also Principal Secretary to two former Prime Ministers - Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi), and Arvind Inamdar, the state's widely respected former Director General of Police. Later in the evening, Advani interacted with the city's Who's Who at a dinner meeting.
